WALT: Write a reflection about what watched at wonder
Hi everyone we went to the movies and watched wonder. It was a very cool movie because it was all about having empathy. Because in the beginning it shows the nurse running out of the room when the mum finish have birth because the baby named August. His face was not looking well so the doctor gave him 27 surgeries. and when he was 10 he started fifth grade. So we went to the principal office and the principal name is Mr Tushman. And while August was inside Mr Tushman office he looked back and saw three kids. And their names are Jack Will, Julian and this girls name that I forgot. Those three kids went around and showed what classroom he is in. And they took him to the home room and the science room. And while they were in the science room Julian started being rude by mocking August face. Then August got Julian back. Then the next day he had to tell two things about what he does or what he likes but he said three things and they are he has a sister named Via, he has a dog named Daisy and he likes to watch Star wars or play Star wars. Then after that Julian mocked by asking a question and I felt sad for that part because Julian mocked him by calling him the master of the bad side. Well that is all I have for you today.
Thank you.
I am a Year 8 student at Tamaki Primary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 9 and my teacher is Ms. Komor.

Kiwisport Reflection
WALT: Write a reflection about what happened at kiwisport.
Kiwi sport Reflection
Hi everyone at Kiwi sport we were learning how to throw a shot put. But I already know how to throw it but I was learning some tips on how to throw it far. But we had to warm up. So we started to play dodge ball. It was a very fun game because I got some people out but then someone got me out just by catching the ball. But when I was out I watched how the others went my team was on point because they moved up. But then 5 minutes later they started to move back and the other team moved up.
After that we were practising how to throw a shot put with a size 3 soccer ball. We had to get into groups of three. Then we got into a triangle and started to throw the soccer ball to each other. After that we had to put the ball away and get the real shot put. And I just threw it because it was hard to throw it like a shot put so i just threw it. What I found challenging about it is when I had to try and put it by my jaw line.
Then we had to put the shot put away so we can come back up to class. Well that is all I have for you today.
Thank you.

KiwiSport Reflection
WALT: Write a reflection about what happened
Kiwisport reflection
Hi everyone I went to kiwisport and it was really fun. Because we had a little relay. And my team won just because we all had the fast people. But we had to do a warm up game. and it was called. Maui Matou. It is a traditional maori game and it means. Left and Right. Maui is left and Matou is right. I liked the game because we had to leave our stick and move to the right or left. But you will need a caller in the middle to yell Maui or Matou. What I found challenging at kiwisport is when I had to start of running. It was very hard because I had to use all the tips that the instructor gave me. But doing all those tips are very easy when you get the hang of it. What I liked about kiwisport is when we had relays. Because we went and put five cones all the way to the other side. And we all got a turn. Well that is all I have for you today thank you.

Cyber Smart - Beware
WALT: Write a poster about smart money
Cyber Smart - Beware
Hi everyone on Tuesday we had to make a poster about smart money. It was really fun because we got to work with a partner. I was working with my good friend Gary. It was really hard doing the poster because we had to think about being smart while we are buying something online. But what I found challenging about this is when I had to think about what to write. But what I found something found is when I had to look for images. And what I liked about it is when we were thinking about the topic for our poster. That is all I have for you.
Thank you
Tapa Cloth
WALT: Draw our own tapa cloth
Hi everyone today I am going to blog about my tapa cloth. It was really hard doing my tapa cloth because it was really hard choosing the design for my tapa cloth. When we were doing our tapa cloth it had to be about your culture, family, interest and home. We were doing our tapa cloth for our trip to te tuhi. What I found challenging about this is when I had to try and find a design. But what I liked about it is when I was drawing my design because it was fun cause I was tracing. That is all I have for you.

Fitness Reflection
WALT: Write a reflection on what we did at fitness
Fitness Reflection
Hi everyone at fitness we had to run around the bike track once. Then we had to line up so we can get separated into our groups. When I was with my group we had to go with Kelly the teacher. Her side was to make us fun to the other corner of the court and when we reach the corner the next person has to run. We had to do that for two minutes because we had to try and pick up our speed. Then we had to move to our next station. The next station was high knees and plank hold. We did those exercise position for one minute. So we did high knees for one minute and we did plank hold for one minute. Then we moved onto our next station and it was the same as but the moves were different. They were squats and step ups. We had to do those for one minute. And it was awesome. But what I found challenging about fitness is when I had to try and keep up the paste. I was really tired. But what I should next time is run around the bike track everyday. But only after school so the next time we have fitness I can keep up the paste. Well that is all I have for you.
Thank you.

Kiwisport reflection
Hi everyone at kiwisport we had to do throw, run, jump. And it was fun because we learnt how to run faster and learned how to take off fast. And we did some activities and they were capture the flag. I think you already know how to capture the flag. And the other activity we did was the person has to beat the ball. And if you do not now how to play that game I will tell you how to play it. You need to have a rugby ball. and you have to pass it to the end until the runner makes it to the end. And the goal is that you have to get the ball to the end until the runner gets there. It was a really fun game because when it was my turn I almost beat the ball but I didn't. What I found challenging about kiwisport is when we had to try and beat the ball. some of us did beat it but some of us didn't. That is all I have for you.

Writing Reflection
WALT: Write a reflection on what I did on writing.
Hi everyone I have wrote a explanation text about how can we be a good citizen. It was really fun and at the same time is was because when I was thinking about what to write everything scrambled in my head. What I found challenging is when I tried to think about what to type in or what to put in my explanation text. And here is my explanation text. I have not finished it but I will when I have time.
Thank you
How Can We Be A Good Citizen?
How can we be a good citizen? We can be a good citizen just by doing a good deed. Like picking up rubbish, helping out the police and helping someone out. But i’m gonna talk to you about the proper way to being a citizen.
Reason 1: A way to be a good citizen is by being a good town mayor. Some town mayors are very bosy, bad and angry. But some of the town mayors are good like they give money to the poor. Or they feed the poor. Help raise money for kids or for the school. For example when a school is low on money. A good town mayor would try and raise money for the school that is low on money.
Reason 2: Another way to be a good citizen is to help the police. You can get a good reward just by helping the police. And you can get treats from them. If you want to help out the police you have to fast, energetic, athletic and know your ways around the town. Because if you want to help the police on a police chase. You should know your ways around the town like you have to think about where the criminal might be. For example you are helping a police in a chase and you know where the criminal and you found him. That is how you can be a good citizen.
Reason 3: My last reason of how you can be a good citizen is that you can be a good helper. You can be a good helper by cleaning up someone’s house, helping out elderly people and helping out the shop keeper. And the way to do that is to be positive and be responsible and make sure that you are respectful and have manners. So if you go up to the shop keeper and you ask him “ Can work here” and the shopkeeper says no it is because you do not have manners. You are meant to say “ Can I work in your shop please” and the shopkeeper says yes it is because you have manners and they know that you are respectful.

Maths Reflection
Maths Reflection
Hi everyone on maths time I was playing a maths game with my friend Falakiko. It was a really fun game because we had to try and answer the multiplication problem as fast as we can. And while I was playing this game is that I had quetions about it. Because when I started playin the game I didn't know what to do until I asked my teacher for help and she helped me. It was all because I did not read the instructions. and her they are.
- Take turns to roll the dice and multiply their two numbers
Then my next step was to
-Use a counter to cover the number on the grid that is the product of your dice. Get your classmates to check your answers
-Then the the winner is when you get five dices in row.
What I found challenging about playing this game is when I had to try and answer the problem as fast as can. What I found interesting thing about this game is that it is a very competitive game. Well that is all I have for you

Maths Reflection
IALA: How to solve a maths problem.
Hi everyone at maths we had to go to the teacher so she can give us a question. So we can solve the question that she gives us. The question was that Tana had an Ipod. And he downloaded 148 songs. And now he has 176 song together. But the main question is how many songs did he have before he downloaded 148 songs. And my answer was.
176 - 148= 28 I know the answer because I did.
100 - 100= 0
And I have 76 and 48. Then after that I went
70 - 40= 30
Because I got the 70 and the 40 from 76 and 48. Then I said that I have the 8 and 6 left. Then I went like this.
8 - 6= 2
Then I got the answer 30 and 2. The what I did is.
30 - 2= 28
And that is how I got my answer.
That is all I have for you Today.
Thank you.
Explanation Writing
Explanation writing
School is a whanautanga school because school is full of demonstrations and encourages. We were splitted into groups. I was with my 2 good friends Willow and Demetrius. We had to work on a explanation writing. And we were given a topic. And our topic was about encourage. And what we wrote was school is a encouragement place because people can encourage others to never give up or keep on going when they are playing sports. And that is what we wrote. What I found challenging about this is when we had to think about what encouragement means. And to me it means that when you support someone or help someone out.
That is all I have for you today.
Thank you

Warrior End Season With 9 Losses In A Row
The Warriors have finished the 2017 NRL season with a 9 loss streak after losing their final game.
Their season ended with a 28-16 loss to the Wests Tigers on Sunday.
The Warriors finished the season in 13th position to miss the top eight for a sixth straight year.
Not even the presence of ex-New Zealand national coach Stephen Kearney and superstars Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Kieran Foran, Shaun Johnson and Issac Luke has had an impact.

World's First Mobile phone Museum Opened

World's First Mobile phone Museum Opened
A new mobile phone museum has opened in Slovakia.
Tourists who visit the vintage cellphone museum will have a trip down memory lane – to when cellphones weighed more than today’s computers and most people couldn’t afford them.
Twenty-six year-old online marketing specialist Stefan Polgari began his collection more than two years ago when he bought a stock of old cellphones online. Today, his collection boasts some 1,500 models, or 3,500 pieces when counting duplicates.
The museum, which takes up two rooms in his house in the small eastern town of Dobsina, opened last year.
The collection includes the Nokia 3310, which recently got a facelift and re-release, as well as a fully functional, 20-year old, brick-like Siemens S4 model, which cost a whopping 23,000 Slovak koruna (NZD$1200) – more than twice the average monthly wage in Slovakia when it came out.
“It’s hard to say which phone is most valuable to me, perhaps the Nokia 350i Star Wars edition,” said Mr Polgari – who uses an iPhone in his daily life.
